• 5K setup volunteers checking in at 7:00 AM will meet at Jennings Landing Pride Center Tent

    There will be no early check-ins. Pride Center Staff arrive at 7:00 am.

    All volunteers must check-in the day of the 5K no later than 8 AM. If you are running late, please reach out at the email/phone number below. 

    If you have a volunteer t-shirt from the Pride Festival please plan on wearing this. We do not have enough additional t-shirts to provide additional shirts.

    The 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM volunteer shift is solely 5K setup and registration, please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.  If you are unable to perform a task assigned, please let your volunteer lead know.

  • Description PRIDE Parade and Festival Volunteer Check-In Info

    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CHOOSING TO VOLUNTEER AT CAPITAL PRIDE 2022!

    Here are the pertinent details for the day of Capital PRIDE, please find information for the shift you are assigned to join us for.

    NOTE: If you are joining us at 10:00AM, we now need you to report to the park at 9:30AM. 

    Festival Setup check-in is 7:00AM to 10:00AM at the Festival Grounds, commonly known as the dog park area in Washington Park. 

    There will be no early check-ins.

    Each volunteer will be given a Pride Center Volunteer shirt to wear during their shift. 

    The 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM volunteer shift is solely festival setup, please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.  If you are unable to perform a task assigned, please let your volunteer lead know.

    Parade/Festival Volunteers check-in at 9:30AM [THIS IS A CHANGE IN TIME] just west of the corner of State Street and Henry Johnson Blvd. Look for the Soldier and Sailors Monument. 

    All volunteers must check-in the day of the festival no later than 10am, especially if you are a Parade Marshall.  

    Each volunteer will be given a Pride Center Volunteer shirt to wear during their shift. These will be available at the Pride Information Booth, where you will go once given assignment for the shift.  

    Your duties for the shift will be given to you upon checking in at the festival. If you have already spoken to someone about your assignment, relay this information at check-in.
